Crafted from meticulously woven bamboo strips, the Bamboo Kra-Tip Thai Sticky Rice Basket comes in various sizes, enabling it to retain heat effectively while keeping the sticky rice soft, warm, and dry. The vertical stacking of the bamboo strips allows the steam from the rice to escape gradually, maintaining the ideal texture. To provide additional strength, the container features a covered round base, often encased in sugar palm stalks or bamboo. For ease of transport or hanging, a rope is usually attached to the body.
