Description
To use the Thai Bamboo Sticky Rice Steamer, first, soak sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours. Fill a sticky rice cooking pot with water, about one-third full, and bring to a boil. Place the soaked rice inside the bamboo steamer basket and set it over the pot, ensuring the basket does not touch the water. Cover the rice with a lid or cloth to trap steam. Steam the rice for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally for even cooking. Once tender and fluffy, it’s ready to serve!
