Instructions for Care & Maintenance of Cast Iron Sizzle Plate

The Cast Iron Sizzle Plate is widely used, suitable for both commercial and home cooking. Before use, rinse the tray with clean water. When cooking, avoid direct contact with the plate to prevent injury. To maintain the non-stick effect, do not dry-burn or burn the sign board during cooking at temperatures above 400°C.

After use, clean the iron plate with warm water containing detergent using a sponge or cotton cloth. Do not use rough emery cloth or steel wool to scrub. Wipe off any accumulated water on the iron plate with a dry cloth.

If not using the Cast Iron Sizzle Plate for a long time, clean the iron plate, wipe off any accumulated water, and apply a thin layer of edible oil on the surface of the iron plate with a cloth to prevent rusting. Do not soak the wooden backing board in water for long periods.
