The Kusunoki Wood Bento Boxes are produced from spliced sections of Kusunoki (楠 “camphor wood”) collected from non-building logs, dried to appropriate moisture levels, then milled into sizes to fit the bento box design. Each base and lid is shaped by hand before being sanded and coated.
